Kais Monastery
This is the beautiful Monastery situated at Kais. Kais is a place on the left bank of river Beas. It has been a source of attraction amongst the tourists. Every year a large no of tourists come and visit this place. Here Monks and Nuns(Lamas) live. The people living here are Buddhists. I too respect Buddhism from the core of my heart. All monks living here are required to be bald. They cannot grow any hair on their face or their heads. Even the Nuns have no hair on their heads. The children living here are provided with food, clothes shelter education and various sources of entertainment. It has also proved to be a landmark in the lands of Kullu and Manali.
